5 and 10 Year Plan
My track right now
I am on track to graduate from undergrad in May 2023. In the summer or Fall of 2023, I will start my doctorate of physical therapy program at Rutgers Newark. I will be in that program for 2.5 years, and then I will need to take the PT board exams. After I pass and earn my license, I can officially apply for Jobs. In my first year, I aim to apply to pediatric hospitals such as saint peters, JFK, and RWJ. Once I finally get a job, I will stay home and work to save up for my place for a couple of years.
5 Years
Once I am at the 5-year mark, I will continue to work as a DPT and take continuing education classes at the hospital. After this milestone, I hope to move out and live independently. For five and ten years, I will consider being an instructor like Dr. Nagle or the famous Joanne Hunt! e dating on my path, I will either get teaching experience and do PT and INstrocoring on the side, or I will go back to school and get a certification in Pediatric health.
10 Years
Once I am near the 10-year mark; I will asses my first DPT job and possibly look for another job with better salaries and flexible hours. After this decision, I can support a family and kids.
